The choir leads the singing at most services in the church and is generally robed.

Anyone, of any age, who enjoys singing is welcome to join the choir and help in leading the singing at St John’s.
Choir practice is held on a Thursday evening, from 6.15 until about 7.30 pm.
The choir is robed (robes provided) and is a full harmony choir. Accompaniment by an “ALLEN” electronic organ.
Most practises are for Sunday service with time spent on miscellaneous events when necessary including the recently introduced Choral Evensong.
The choir helps to organise several services throughout the year, in particular the very popular service of “Carols and Lessons” at Christmas.
